The
Church of All Saints sits almost at the highest point of Tealby and has
commanding views to the south west towards Lincoln, whose Cathedral can be
seen on a clear day. All Saints has a history dating back to Norman roots
through Early English, Decorated and Perpendicular architectural styles.
More recent additions are the Tower clock, commemorating the Queen's Silver
Jubilee in 1977 and a modern electronic organ made in Houston, Texas. The close connection between Tealby and the Tennyson and Tennyson d'Eyncourt families is reflected in much of the interior decoration, with numerous memorials to family members. |
